Alex & Sierra @ The University of Central Florida

Alex & Sierra are the last official X-Factor winners and are former UCF Knights. This would be my second time shooting this duo, and they last performed at Orlando's Red Hot & Boom July 4th festival just 2 months prior to this show. Alex had mentioned the last time they had been here at the UCF Arena was to see Andy Grammer's concert back in 2012, and two years later here they are performing on stage themselves!

Alex & Sierra have an amazing chemistry on-stage, and I think everyone should know that they are undeniably two of the most kind-hearted musicians on the planet. Just prior to the show, Sierra had noticed a tweet coming from a girl named Courtney working at the ticket booth, this was her tweet:

Sierra read this back-stage, looked up and said "We have to take a photo with her!"

And they absolutely did.

This was one of the most awesome things I've ever seen musicians do for their fans, and it was really great to see the reaction on these girl's faces. Alex & Sierra, ultimate happiness makers.

These two tossed their UCF hat on-stage and got it signed.

STS9

STS9 rocked an absolutely beautiful show at the Beacham. The lighting these guys produce was stunning, and it was a perfect match to their electronic music that had a sold-out crowd dancing non-stop for a solid two hours.

The most difficult challenge of this shoot was certainly finding good angles of the band, a lot of the time the time they were covered by their tall synths, but I found a few niches to shoot from and I was generally pretty pleased with how most of the shots came out. The fantastic lighting was a great help too!
